On June 15th, 2010, it was halfway through the year. As of this year, I have been dismissed from school, broken up with my TOXIC EX BF, suffered from a continuous depression, moved into a bigger apartment, started an at-home business and now I have to find some PT work in order to keep my food stamp benefits. Although I am employed by working from home, I haven't made any money from it yet. Until then, I NEED extra dough. With all that has happened, I STILL thank GOD for all of it because it is a continuous life experience for me. Today June 17th, 2010 has been such a great day for me. I may have been dismissed from one school, but I am now admitted back into my MBA program I began a year ago, so I haven't lost.
In order for me to be stable, I need to complete this Masters degree and move on with my life. Through it all, I know things will be fine. I am SO THANKFUL for those people in my life who care so much about me to want to lend a helping hand and give advice. Although I may not have much food, my mentor led me to someone who was moving out of town and didn't want to waste any food. She called me and now I have a fully stocked freezer. GOD IS SO GOOD!!! A friend that I recently connected with in the past few months, Christie Cruise is my sister from another mister! LOL! Not only do we have the same profession in common, but we also have so many personality traits and characteristics in common, too. It's crazy! We met three years ago in Houston at an internship for a news station and recently reconnected as friends. I know I can count on her to be real and honest with me about ANYTHING. With my ups and downs, I need someone to talk to that I can relate to. It had to be divine intervention because since then, we have constantly kept in touch. Despite all the rough edges I came across, I know I have the support with those who TRULY care.
My DEEPEST prayer is that my story or testimony will help someone else and give them strength to move out of a bad situation or inspire them to move on to something better, like I have. I realize that my goal and purpose here on Earth is to HELP OTHERS. As long as I accomplish that, I am very happy. Another deep prayer that I have is for everyone to have a strong, stable support system they can rely on or go to when a rough time comes about. With the recent tragedies and disasters that have happened, it makes you think about life in a more supportive way. Pray for those in need and even those that aren't in need because EVERYONE NEEDS HELP IN THEIR LIFE!
I hope this has helped anyone out there who reads this and gives them some sort of encouragement and hope :0)
Peace and Blessings,
V. Wade

Waking up to your voice message yesterday morning and hearing your joy and excitement jump started my day in a happy direction. There are so many good things in store for you in the second half of 2010. I'm glad we are sharing our journeys and helping one another move forward. God will continue to bless you in numerous ways. Your thanksgiving reminds me of one of my favorite Bible verses, 2 Corinthians 4:15-18.
